    Frequently asked questions

When and where does the team work?

    14 to March 21, 2027, in Belterra.

    Who chooses the patients?

The waiting list is organized together with the Municipal Health Department and Belterra's Municipal Hospital, based on demand already registered in Brazil's public health system (SUS). Zoé's team assesses each case before surgery.

    And after the team leaves?

Immediate post-operative care is provided by the team in the field; follow-up stays with the local network, with guidance from Zoé and a direct channel for questions. In Belterra, Zoé keeps a continuous presence through its other programs and the branch opened at the Municipal Hospital in 2026.

    Where does my donation go?

To Zoé's expeditions: logistics, supplies, medicines, tests, team lodging and equipment. Volunteers are not paid. Zoé's accounts are audited by BDO and published.
