Surgeries in Belterra with the Municipal Hospital
For the Ong Zoé to close out 2023, we will deliver a volunteer mission to the population of Belterra in the state of Pará between December 2nd and 10th, involving hernia and gallbladder surgeries, dermatological and gynecological consultations, and ultrasound exams. Our goal is to minimize waiting times for care in the public health network for the city's population and to reduce the burden on the regional public health system. Currently in Pará, the state operates with fewer than 2 doctors per 1,000 inhabitants, making it the most affected state by the shortage of these professionals in the country. Let’s go together! Ong Zoé bringing specialized healthcare, humanized care, and a qualified team to care for those who care for the forest. :) Follow us on social media!
