About the expedition
An Impact Expedition in Belterra during the 18th Journey
In June 2023, Zoé carried out its 18th expedition, extending its compassionate hand to the historic town of Belterra, Pará. Offering specialized medical care at the Municipal Hospital, the expedition provided essential health services to the local community. We performed 83 endoscopic procedures, 40 colonoscopies, 126 ultrasounds, 25 hernia surgeries, 20 gallbladder surgeries, 2 proctology procedures, 17 dermatology surgeries, and 72 dermatology consultations. With the support of 28 volunteers who donated 1,240 hours of their time, Zoé continues to make a difference, and we invite you to join us on this journey of solidarity.
