Group welcoming dynamic with local health professionals. Between expeditions, it is they who sustain care on the territory—and during this expedition, they were also welcomed.

Continued care

The work started during expeditions does not stop between visits to Belterra. In psychiatry, continuity is achieved through a telemedicine follow-up program with weekly appointments. In psychology, monthly follow-ups are in-person: volunteers from Santarém, trained by Zoé's coordination, continue attending patients in the region. It is this follow-up that ensures treatments initiated in Belterra are not interrupted—with return visits, medication adjustments, and ongoing therapeutic processes throughout the entire year.
