Consultations and exams

June 2023 marked a significant period in Zoé's journey. In partnership with the Hospital Boat Papa Francisco, we explored the waters of the Rio Mamuru in the Amazon, an unprecedented experience that reinforces the importance of medical care in remote and underserved regions. Over four intense days, we sailed toward 14 riverside communities, bringing hope materialized through medicine. Our six volunteers, true anonymous heroes, dedicated 312 hours to the mission of helping others. We conducted 818 consultations across various specialties, from pediatrics and gynecology to infectious diseases and ophthalmology. Additionally, we performed a substantial number of ultrasound and ophthalmologic exams, essential tools for accurate diagnosis.
