About
I have been a professional photographer since 2013 and, since 2017, have dedicated my work to documenting Indigenous peoples throughout Brazil. As an anthropologist, I work carefully with Indigenous associations, prioritizing the guarantee of their rights and respect for their customs and consultation protocols. Currently, I provide technical advisory services to the Iakiô Association (Panará people, MT), where I work in communication within the Indigenous Component of the Basic Environmental Plan for BR-163, in partnership with Habitat Socioambiental. I have experience facilitating projects and meetings in traditional communities, as well as a track record in writing cultural projects and financial reporting—two projects approved in public calls from the Federal District. Since 2018, I have been part of the photography team at Aldeia Multiétnica (Chapada dos Veadeiros, GO) and annually collaborate with APIB and Midia Ninja on Indigenous political and social events in Brasília. Between 2020 and 2023, I served as Visual Director of Photography and Video for the NGO Aldaya (California, USA), documenting Xavante and Krahô handicraft production as a way to expand their commercialization and strengthen their communities.
