    About the expedition

The Zoé NGO's expedition to the Zo’é Indigenous Territory aims to strengthen healthcare in the region by providing specialized medical care and safe surgical support. The multidisciplinary team works in an integrated manner, ensuring clinical follow-up, planned procedures, and humanized care, respecting the specificities of the Zo’é people and the realities of remote-area healthcare.

The 35th Expedition to the Zoé Indigenous Territory will take place from June 28 to 30, 2025. It will include a gastric surgeon, a general and coloproctological surgeon, an anesthesiologist, a physician, a neurosurgeon, and an administrator. Five gallbladder surgeries are planned.
